For more about the Elders role at Northern Hills...The elders represent the primary leadership and meet regularly to discuss matters of theology, direction for the Church, and when necessary, discipline with love for the people of Northern Hills. The elders strive to preach, teach, and counsel to the glory of God. The tasks and responsibilities of the elders vary greatly and require discernment, as they strive to keep the church on its biblical course.

Leadership Team:
The leadership of Northern Hills extends through the Elders empowerment of the Leadership Team. The Leadership team then serves according to the direction and vision approved by the elders, the established financial parameters, and within the scope of the established strategic plan. The Leadership team runs the day-to-day ministry of Northern Hills through a shared leadership model. At any one moment a person, called and gifted for a particular task, steps up and leads the community forward. Such a model encourages different leaders at various times and strategic moments.

The teaching team provides relevant and Bible-based teaching during weekend services. They are responsible for creating a yearly message schedule that aligns with the current reality of Northern Hills and prepares people for the future of Northern Hills. Individuals on the teaching team provide general oversight to weekend services.
